This workshop will tackle the challenging task of doing youth ministry in gang- and drug-infested neighborhoods. We’ll focus on how to evangelize, educate and empower young people by using soul stories and the gospel of Jesus Christ. We’ll look at the four main parts of the gospel story — creation, the fall, redemption and restoration — as a roadmap that’s easy to follow and explain. Learn how your story is vitally important in engaging this community and helping the neighborhood connect to God and us.
